4.7 billion dollars to create a tourism spot, but for what? It seems odd to announce a theme park project amidst the problem that exist between China and Tibet. What will be there? Genocide World? Dying Monks Mountain? As written in (VOA News – Tibet) “…Exiles, like Tenzin in New York, do feel free to speak out. He is calling for worldwide campaign to block the project. “This is going to destroy our history,” he said, “and this will not benefit the Tibetan people in the long-run.”

No, you aren’t going to Tibet. The latest self immolations by Buddhist sealed the fate, no more tourism which means less attention towards the injustice. Does this mean news orgs will be left out too? Tourism is a big part of making money there and now it’ll be cut off. How will the folks there make a buck? Government money? Fat chance. It’s a strategy of some sort for sure to keep the news out, keep attention out and bleed the place dry. (ABC – Tibet)

Dalai Lama visits Japan. If you read any international news, you’ll have heard about the 10 monks who’ve committed suicide in protest of China’s policies. Like the Vietnam war monks, the Tibetans are doing the same. Dousing themselves with gasoline and burning themselves to gain media attention. The Dalai Lama explains it as China’s “Ruthless Policy”. Meanwhile, China accuses the monks and being terrorists and committing terroristic acts. (Tibet Post – Monks)

Reincarnation at 90? The Dalai Lama seems like he’s been around forever, but he’s merely 76! What’s going to happen when he’s 90? He’s going to consult the “Jedi Council” to see if the Dalai Lama should continue not under China’s control. Perhaps that’s the end, and knowing there is no reincarnation will stand out even more, when China decides to appoint their own. (Sydney Morning Herald – Dalai Lama)
