Silent Wonderment Closing Event Photos - July 2nd 2016

Silent Wonderment: Exploring the World of Giant Robot at the Vincent Price Art Museum closed on Saturday, but it didn't end like most exhibitions. We decided to throw a small event which included Albert Reyes, Rob Sato and Ako Castuera, Matt Furie, Yoskay Yamamoto, and Tiny Splendor doing short talks along with a zine workshop where one could put together a zine of drawings by the artists. It turns out, this was the first workshop ever at the museum and it went off without a hitch. There will surely be more.  I have to give a big thanks to VPAM, Vy Ly, Victor, Jorge, Pilar, the student workers, the artists, the Board (George Yin), and Mike Fong. The show was amazing...

Silent Wonderment: Exploring the World of Giant Robot  On Saturday July 2, 2016, the Vincent Price Art Museum will feature a closing event of Silent Wonderment: Exploring the World of Giant Robot featuring a zine workshop and artist talks. Silent Wonderment - Exploring the World of Giant Robot at VPAM Reception

Vincent Price Art Museum at East LA College. It was a fun ride to get to the opening night and it all worked smoothly. We even brought in a crowd that numbers more than double the typical opening bordering on one of their largest crowds. I'm always thankful for the crowds who get stoked on the exhibition. It's through the hard work of the artists, the social networking, and the overall love everyone puts into their work that makes this happen. I'm beholden to it all. I’m also thankful for the experience. Each exhibition adds a little more and the fun moments that come with it all are what it's about. I have to remember that it's still work. Careers are being...
