Maggie Chiang is a recent Art Center graduate whose illustration style is catching views with her editorial work. Her exhibition work is always dreamy and peaceful. Jeni Yang is a long time favorite at GR2. Her work captures illustrative narratives that often include cats, desserts, in hand made wooden frames. Huntz Liu creates geometric systems cut into layers of paper. The designs are pure, beautiful, and abstract. They capture texture as well as color via the varying levels of the depth. His drawings are fun and cute, and his sculptures and animations are amazing as well.  Maggie Chiang is a Taiwanese American full time artist and part time dreamer. Giant Robot Hawaii 2016 at Ars Cafe Diamond Head. You'll never complain about going to Hawaii, but to have an exhibition there is special. It's a rare occasion that's now two years in a row deep. Let's push for three next year. First the big thanks is to Lofa. For those of you who know him, then it's a repeat to hear that he's supportive to artists who visit Hawaii.  Ars Cafe is in the Diamond Head area which is mellow from the tourism and downtown area. The cafe itself faces Diamond Head and you can see the reflections on the hand painted sign window. The gallery space part of the cafe is clean and wholesome. The exhibition looks great...
