One day… we’ll attend this festival. This is the premier Fantastic Film Festival in North America. July 14-August 7. It’s takes place in Montreal and this is the 15th year! As usual, anything out of control, interesting, and weird will be here. Oh, it should be Asian. New film by Takashi Miike – Ninja Kids, Sion Sono – Cold Fish, Jet Li – Ocean Heaven, and more. Seriously what’s missing? At times, the films are super over the top ridiculous. B or C movie if it were made here with American bad actors, but then again, sometimes they’re not. Very strange title in the that’s what she said vein. It’s finally released and obviously just in time. This is the Japanese version of the cartoons which were highly sought after. This takes off after the original cartoons, and there you have it. More cashing in on the product known as Transformers. Although we appreciate it’s value and the fact that this US release seems like a fan demanded project, it’s to earn some big dollars and appease the hundreds of thousands of fans who grew up with this film. Cool looking camera with a poo design on the corner. The poo design is something of your own creation since you can download the plans and get them laser cut yourself. Then salvage some parts some from an older disposable camera to end up with a cool looking camera that shoots arty. This doesn’t look too easy to put together, but for the serious gear head, this looks like fun and probably much cheaper than some of those arty cameras out there. Jon Moritsugu will be available live via webcam. All streaming. 25 tickets per show. Most are 2.99 some that are hosted are 3.99.
