Asian carp are a problem in the Great Lakes. They’re swallowing all of the plankton and ruining to eco-system. They even jump out of the water hurting boaters! Introduced from Asia and swam up waterways. Carp has always been a fish you don’t eat. It’s the junky fish of the planet and basically free. Now the Department of Natural Resources (who?) are going to launch a campaign to try and get people to eat carp. How? What type of dish? Tacos? A stew? Carp is a bony fish, and we’ll see who’s going to eat this. (NPR – carp for lunch)
