Yes, it’s a sad situation. People get out of work later in Japan, and arriving at 8pm to pet cats after a crappy day at work is routine for many. Now that the shops need to put away their cats at 8pm, it’s going to cause a lot of problems for some shops who have that 2 hour time as a profit center. The weird thing is that there’s plenty of fire hazards among the crammed up bars, yakitori shops, which when a fire erupts kills everyone inside. Yet cat cafes are a smoke free, alcohol free environment and they can’t keep the cats out past 8pm?! Makes little sense. (Newsday – Cat Cafe Curfew)

When it’s time to eat Japanese food, you have no idea that in your mouth and system is Koji. You might have a friend or two with that name, but in the end, you’re eating a fungus that’s a classic ingredient in many Japanese foods. It’s used for Sake, miso, rice wine vinegar, but there’s more to it. It’s also now being made at home in combination with other foods. It would take civilians up the shaft to 36000 km where they’d stay, and only the scientists can go higher. The builder interested is the person behind the new Tokyo Sky Tree which is 634 meters tall. The 2000 year old sport is taking on hard times. We’ve seen some sports come and go. Remember Team Handball? How about Racketball? Sumo has been bashed by gambling and set up matches. It’s been proven over and over. Currently, it’s 50 million dollars in debt in 2011. The Association ousted the top wrestler from Mongolia, Asashoryu for a nightclub fight incident, thus forcing the best and a crowd pleaser out of the sport and even he was involved in fixing scandals.
